Does Your Vehicle Support Wired CarPlay or Android Auto?

Before purchasing, please confirm that your vehicle has factory-installed wired CarPlay or Android Auto functionality. The WireFree adapter converts wired systems to wireless; it cannot add CarPlay or Android Auto to vehicles that do not already have it.

How to Check:

1. Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to your car’s USB port using a data cable.

2. If the CarPlay or Android Auto interface appears on your car’s display, your vehicle is compatible.

3. If nothing appears, your vehicle may not support this feature.

Note: BMW, Tesla, and select other models may not be compatible. Please check your vehicle’s specifications before ordering.

Does this work with Android Auto?

Yes. The WireFree adapter supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless conversion, provided your vehicle has wired Android Auto functionality and your phone runs Android 11 or later.

Why won’t my Huawei phone connect?

Huawei devices run on the EMUI operating system, which does not support wireless Android Auto functionality. This is a limitation of the operating system rather than the adapter itself.

Will there be lag with music or navigation?

No. The WireFree adapter uses 5.8GHz WiFi transmission, which provides a stable, low-latency connection. Music, navigation, and calls remain synchronized without noticeable delay.
